Cross-language
Ask in Indonesian, Arabic, or a mix of both. The AI understands the context of hadith science terminology, not just translating word-for-word.
Verified citations
Every answer includes the book reference and hadith number. If there are no sufficiently strong narrations, the AI states it doesn't know — it doesn't make things up.
Thematic summaries
Compile summaries from multiple narrations on a single topic — patience, maintaining ties of kinship, trade — while still displaying each source.
Terminology explanations
Explains technical terms in hadith science (sahih, hasan, mudhal, etc.) with examples from available books.
Writing assistance
Helps draft hadith cards, study notes, or lecture summaries in your own words, without raw copying.
What it does not do
These limitations are part of the design, not flaws. We choose not to do these things.
Not a fatwa issuer
HadisKu AI does not determine what is halal, haram, or obligatory. For fiqh decisions, always refer to qualified scholars and authorized institutions.
Does not fabricate hadiths
If a narration is not found in the collection, the AI states it doesn't know. No fictional hadiths, no reconstructed chains of narration.
Does not replace teachers
The AI can help search and read, but it does not replace the guidance of a teacher, the chain of knowledge, or the complete learning process.
Does not store questions
User questions are not stored for model training. No profiling, no tracking, no data sold.

Every question is first searched in the available hadith collection. The AI does not answer from its own "general knowledge".

Sources are openly cited
Answers always include the book and hadith number they are based on. Users can open the full text in the HadisKu app.

Unsure = does not answer
If the search does not find a sufficiently relevant narration, the AI refuses to answer rather than guessing. It is better to admit not knowing than to be wrong.

Can run on-device
For smaller models, the entire process can run on the user's device. No questions are sent to the server.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will HadisKu AI answer fiqh questions?
No. HadisKu AI is designed to help search and understand hadiths, not to determine rulings. Questions about halal/haram, obligatory/sunnah, or other fiqh decisions are out of scope and will be directed to refer to scholars.
How does the AI ensure it doesn't fabricate hadiths?
Every answer must be based on narrations that actually exist in the collection. If the search does not find a strong enough narration, the AI will state it found no answer. No hadiths are generated from the language model alone.
Is my question data stored?
No. Questions are not stored for model training. For on-device models, questions never even leave the user's device.
Will HadisKu AI be available for organizations?
Yes. We plan to provide dedicated access for Islamic boarding schools, universities, and dakwah institutions, with options for content review by teachers within the organization. Details will be announced alongside HadisKu for Organizations.
When will HadisKu AI be available?
Still under development. We are building the citation system and accuracy evaluation framework with prospective reviewers. There is no release date yet. Follow the newsletter for news when the testing phase opens.
